  • INTRODUCTION

Founded in 2009, the Practice and Corporate Partnership Center of HAT School carries out its mission of providing a practice platform that allows students to enrich their knowledge and improve their professional skills. The Center also collaborate with industry enterprises to link School students with internships and employment opportunities. This is one of the strategic objectives set by the School Executive Board to ensure graduates have the better chances to succeed in their future career.

Throughout nearly 10 years of history, the Center has collaborate with many well established corporates all over the country. Its practising activities in professional skills and management have been highly praised by both domestic and international businesses. As a result, more than 80% of Tourism graduates enter employment after graduation.

  • MAIN DUTIES:
    • Organise professional skills practice and business practice activities for students at the Center or at other tourism enterprises.
    • Organise short training courses to help students improve their knowledge and practical skills.
    • Organise vocational training in the fields relating to hotel – restaurant and tourism
    • Build a skilled workforce for tourism related fields, in both local and international corporates and organisations.
    • Collaborate with other training institutes in strengthening staff capacity, as well as improving student learning outcome and experience.
    • Maintain and develop close connection with industry corporates for further cooperation in the future.
